Our story

Our story begins in September 2022, when a group of high school students came together to form FutureED, an organization driven by a shared passion for volunteering and education. With the launch of our first class, we set out to make a difference in our community and provide students with valuable skills and experiences.

Fast forward to the end of 2022, and we have successfully held a total of 50 classes, including English, French, and Math, with volunteer hours totaling around 200. Our efforts have paid off, as our student population has increased by ten times.

Behind the scenes, our volunteer mentors are working tirelessly to prepare for each class, creating lesson plans, teaching, and holding meetings to discuss course arrangements and share teaching experiences. They are dedicated to not only helping others, but also developing their own skills and experiences.

At FutureED, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to give back to their community through volunteering, while also gaining valuable skills such as leadership, communication, and problem-solving. We are proud to see the positive impact our volunteer mentors are making on the lives of children and youth.

As we look to the future, we are excited to continue expanding our offerings and creating new forms of interaction with students. We hope to attract even more volunteers to join our team and make a difference in the lives of students.
